Stephanie Green’s third poetry collection, Sahara Rain, is published by Liquid Amber Press and will be released in Australia in September 2026.

An international pre-launch of Sahara Rain took place at the Himalayan Writers Festival on 4 June 2026, in Kathmandu, Nepal. A Canberra launch is planned for 1 November at The Art Box.

Set against the vast and shifting landscapes of the Moroccan edge of the Sahara Desert, Sahara Rain is a powerful poetic meditation on climate, memory, survival, and human connection. Inspired by a massive desert storm, the collection explores the many meanings of “weathering” — from environmental transformation to the emotional aftermath of war, grief, and displacement. Through luminous and evocative poems, the book journeys from shock and loss toward resilience, joy, and renewed intimacy.
